This is the next installment from Makoto Shinkai following on from popular films Your Name and Weathering With You

Also going to feature music from RADWIMPS like the last 2 movies. Shame there won’t be a release outside Japan until 2023 but I am super excited for this movie.

Crunchyroll have annonced:

 

Crunchyroll is teaming up with Sony Pictures Entertainment, Wild Bunch International and Eurozoom to release the film, which just opened in Japan on November 11. Mark your calendars with the dates lined up so far:

April 13 in Australia, Brazil, Germany, Mexico and New Zealand

 

Set the date boys and girls, this will be a great movie.
